I parked next to a snazzy green car at the grocery store the other day and I spotted this katydid hitchhiker.

We saw one of these in our yard in connecticut today! I can’t believe it looks just like a leaf 🙂 green car was a good hiding spot. I wonder if it’s a windy ride for that little guy.
I wish I had used my actual camera instead of my iPod camera to take these pictures. I was headed into the grocery store, and the iPod was the first camera-thing I reached for in my purse.
